In 2016, the family received the news that nobody wants to receive, Marta Leal, eldest daughter, then 6 years old, had a tumor on her leg. Thus, Marta was subjected to several treatments at the IPO. But, where he had the best answer to his problem was at Clínica Universitária de Navarra. This process had a total cost of € 90,000. But, this is a long process because Marta needs some surgeries to correct growth problems.

In 2019, Tomás Leal, 5 years old at the time, like his sister, was diagnosed with the same tumor, which also required a visit to the Clínica Universitária de Navarra, to carry out the treatments, with an approximate cost of € 95,000.

In June 2020, Marta needed a new surgical intervention to correct lower limb dysmetria, with an approximate cost of € 40,000.

Finally, and against all expectations, in September 2020, Tomás, when carrying out follow-up tests, is diagnosed with a tumor in his lungs, so the family, now completely worn out and unable to bear the costs of treatments, comes to appeal again for the help of all to obtain the necessary amount to carry out the treatments - an estimated value of € 100,000. At this point, he has already managed to raise around € 50,000.

Thanks to the help of friends and other civil society, the expenses have been borne by the donations raised.
