Description

RARÍSSIMAS - National Association of Mental and Rare Disabilities - was founded in April 2002, with the mission of supporting patients, families, friends of old and now who live closely with rare diseases.

The Raríssimas Northern Delegation has operated the Raríssimo Center since 2010, offering qualified health services, with emphasis on the rehabilitation of children and young people with mental and rare disabilities.

The amount raised reverts to the rehabilitation treatments of one of the users of the Centro Raríssimo Norte. This patient has hereditary ascending infantile spastic paraplegia due to a mutation in the ALS2 gene and needs urgent speech therapy.
