Vitória Sport Clube was one of the four professional football teams that secured the qualification for the Final Four Allianz CUP.

The Football Foundation - Liga Portugal joined the tech4COVID19 movement and this value of this auction will support the STOP COVID-19 campaign

STOP COVID-19 is tech4COVID19's fundraising campaign to acquire medical equipment such as masks, gloves and protective suits, to be donated to hospital centers and health units in need.

In this first campaign, it is hoped to raise 100,000 euros for the purchase of medical protective equipment (masks, gloves, gowns) that have the function of ensuring the individual protection of health professionals, preventing contact with infected particles and thus reducing the likelihood of spread of the virus. According to the Portuguese Medical Association, 20% of those infected in Portugal are doctors who, due to lack of protection and work material, have contact with the virus and end up becoming infected. In addition to the greater spread, it results in even less workforce to assist patients.

Any activity of validation, purchase or delivery of equipment will always be valid with the public entities responsible in advance, namely Infarmed, General Health Directorate, Regional Health Administrations or the National Health Service.

Tech4Covid19 has spontaneously identified suppliers for more than half a thousand masks and more than 50 ventilators, as well as receiving several requests for equipment from different hospital centers and health professionals.

The equipment will be distributed by tech4COVID19, which will only act according to indications to be received from the DGS, for hospital centers in need, and with a view to guaranteeing a faster and more agile response than that of the usual logistics chain.
