We are auctioning a triple economic seat of a TAP Air Portugal aircraft to support UNICEF.
The amount raised with this auction will help UNICEF’s program in São Tomé and Príncipe where many children need assistance. This country has a population of about 190,000 people, 42.47% of which are under 14 years of age and 63% are under 24. São Tomé and Príncipe is a country with a young population, but facing many challenges.
About half of the children living in this country suffer from diseases related with poor water conditions and 61% of children under five do not sleep under mosquito nets. This makes them vulnerable to diseases such as malaria that kills 10 children under five years old every single minute. Malaria and poor water conditions cause numerous diseases and deaths that can be easily avoidable with effective and low-cost treatments. Consequently, one of UNICEF's priorities in São Tomé and Príncipe is to fight the spread of malaria and to equip communities with clean water and proper sanitation to provide better public health and hygiene conditions.
Do not miss this fantastic opportunity to own a piece of commercial aviation history and support this charity cause promoted by TAP Air Portugal.
Good causes deserve our best!
