Rio Ave FC joined MEO in a campaign against domestic violence. During the game, Rio Ave Futebol Clube players wore jerseys with names of women instead of their own, as a tribute to the many women who have died in Portugal victims of domestic violence.
These jerseys will now be auctioned for charity and the amount raised will go to APAV (Portuguese Association for Victim Support).
